But I'm not here to change thoughts on whether I deserved it or not. I don't think I deserved it nor the crap that came along with it. sad

Once again, I never asked to be in Spotlight for seven months. I use to get a lot of support from the PD, but ever since I got the attention from Spotlight after a few months, I started getting "hatred" comments spewing from I dunno, jealousy? "I hate this profile because it's been up too long. When are they gonna take this s**t down?" And I got that everyday for the last few months. The worst s**t I've ever put up with on this site.

And this is for everyone to read. Being on spotlight did not change my ego or increased it. I didn't consider myself the best designer at all. I looked up to every designer on Gaia for inspiration. And it hurts to read in the last few months from people who once supported me turn around and say, "You don't deserve Spotlight." Judging a profile based on how long it's been given attention is pathetic. People should judge it based on the profile as a whole. Realize that being on Spotlight did not change the profile.

It also hurt when I lurked in this thread a few weeks ago, when people are complaining about how I've been on Spotlight for so long and that I never deserved such an award. People just don't realized that I've never asked to be on Spotlight, I really had no control over it. I never saw me on Spotlight coming either. Instead of talking behind my back and saying my work sucks, just say it to my face. I've had this anger pent up for a long time until now.

Honestly, I wished Spotlight never happened and that I still had my supporters. Nothing is more important than my supporters on this site who keeps me going.

@Swell Sundae: That's okay, but I'd rather hear an honest opinion. Not all of that was directed towards you, more like everyone. As for the background, it's .jpg. I never use .png because there is a color variation in hex color between Mozilla Firefox and I.E.

edit: I got enough s**t from Spotlight and I NEVER, ever asked for it to happen. A lot of people just don't understand that.
