~shalle~la~rilla~ LOL LOL LOL. I'm actually a huge Lady Gaga fan.... in secret. That was beautiful. Kyo's tattoo looks like black vomit on his back. I hope he decides to do an interview with that one magazine... Ink? or something? They feature J-Rockers occasionally. heart My favorite is the one with Kenzi and Nero. Cause, you know, Kyo has so many tattoos... it'd be nice to see them all. I believe Kaoru did the Japan musician tattoo collective book, and magazine interview. But I highly doubt Kyo would do a tattoo interview. High-five to loving Gaga! I vote +10 on Dir en grey covering "Monster." |

iDiru Because Kyo just knows that there's going to be a fine girl right in that spot. He can predict the future. Too bad it's a Dir en grey show, so he's actually pointing at the really ugly girl ]8 |

Fille avec ballon Could you be a little more of a wet blanket? Please, I love all your negative comments. They're AWESOME. -__- I don't know, do you have a garden hose or anything? ~shalle~la~rilla~ I dunno... Kagrra, and Screw are pretty sweet. Kagrra, uses a lot of more traditional instruments you don't hear so often anymore and they implicate it in nearly every album. Vegas was an awesome single. Byou's exterior switches between looking like Kyo and Kiyoharu are amazing. Man looks fabulous right now. Kagrra, does have some good songs. Though Isshi has a great way of working with lyrics and characters. |

~shalle~la~rilla~ I meant like... around the time he got married/had a kid. Since he left... what was it? PS Company or something? and now he's working solo. I should have been more specific, forgive me. More like Piece of s**t Company. |

~shalle~la~rilla~ As for Toshiya's perfomance.... He's playing the bass with his fingers now, isn't he? He's already an epic bass guitarist, but the way he has incorporated new techniques into his playing is rad. He called it 'thumping' but I'm thinking it's closer to slap-bass or the technique Miyavi used to use when he drummed on his guitar. Thumping is such a broad term. The member I've noticed the least amount of change in is either Kaoru or Die... Kaoru probably has his hands full with the recording and technicalities of making music, but Die doesn't really have an excuse. Yeah, he's mostly a fingerstyle player. I haven't really paid attention his playing lately, but I'd say he leans more towards how say Robert Trujillo plays. He definitely hits with his thumb in songs like Stuck Man but he's been doing a whole lot of finger working lately. You can completely tell who they're all inspired by musically at this point in their career. And I think it really shines through with Kaoru. I can't comment on any evolution of their styles, but they've obviously progressed drastically. But it is easy to tell them apart, just listening to Uroboros for the first time one can notice say, Toguro, is completely a Die song. |

Miho Hatori 2.]Being the badass drummer that he is, he's said he only takes what he thinks is essential to produce the desired sounds. 4.] Even for the Hageshi single, Shinya stated the beat is pretty simple. 5.] the snare abuse doesn't give headaches anymore 6.] Performance... well I could type an essay on the aesthetic qualities xD Shinya looks majestic when he drums, so calm and cool <3 -swoons- But really, there are times where he looks like he could have [and most likely has] dislocated something in his arms. I noticed this mostly during The Deeper Vileness lives, when Kyo says "I DONT. EVEN THINK. OF YOU AS MY- FRIENNNNNDDSSS." Shinya hits various parts of the kit, and his arms stretch out a lot. I remember he was taking medication in like '07 I think, when the pain got unbearable. But Shinya is a trooper <3 and won't get pain in the way of his art. I have a question, is that an exact picture of /Shinya's/ drumset? or just a random pic of the same drum kit? Just curious, lol r] Since international touring they've of course reduced drastically in goods thanks to traveling. But I must agree, Shinya isn't one for major technicality but makes up for it certainly in the way he drums and his set. And yes, that an image of his set: http://www.pearlgakki.com/drum/artist_win/s_shinya/index.html |

Lots of great collections from FW10.
As a little side, I believe Kyo wears JULIUS FW09 in the recent Kerrang: ![]() JULIUS red leather close-up Kerrang image cred goes to kameikokisou and the scanner. |

~shalle~la~rilla~ I've got a better idea. Why don't you start one? And stop dredging up past arguments from pages ago. Dredging should be the word of the day. DERP DISCUSS DERP: ![]() Shinya from off the 2008+ tours has used Pearl Masters Retrospect with tomtoms, floor toms, set of Rototoms, bass drums, separate gong drums, and a line-up of Sabian cymbals, splashes, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this. How does everyone feel about his progression in drumming, his performance, and array of set which obviously varies per tour. Also, what is everyone's opinion on Toshiya's progression in how he plays and performs? Most notably his transition from pick, inspirations, and usage of a necessary lack of change in a written piece. |

I really don't like the AdidasxSW. They all really surpass geeky and go into being overly ridiculous. The Darth Vaders look like little kid light-up shoes.
