I like the do the same thing Crimson mentioned. I show them a preliminary sketch and then they can critique and request all they want changed. xD That way, when I show them the final thing, it's pretty similar to what they had in mind. lol, I figure it's best if you're not afraid to be too naggy and ask them a lot of questions about their characters. razz But then again, I've only ever done IRL commissions so far, so I dunno if Gaia is any different. Don't get down though when they only say a "thank you" or "I like it." They could really mean it. ^-^ Not everyone likes to capslock and spam emotes xD
