And it feels like fear, Like I'll disappear. Gets so hard to steer, Yet I go on.

At first the sound of other voices slightly surprised him. He could tell the presence of a few others in the room, including that of his grandson, but until now they seemed to be nearer the entrance to the Hall of the Corner Stone, rather than entering negotiations. He didn’t mind it though. Rather on the contrary, the girl’s light voice seemed to give him an easier tone to the situation. Least before Kaiya went and ruined it again with heavy handed words and anger.

Riku smiled and nodded, noticing a few things off hand. Sound of a heart beat compared to Luxask, a cheerful disposition, and a faint smell of the ocean. If it wasn’t enough that he knew the name of his best friend’s granddaughter, then that was probably enough to lead him to a guess to who was vouching for the new comers.

He raised a bit of a brow on the fact. Working for someone? As in another powerful Nobody like Xemnas to the old Organization or were they puppets to a puppeteer? He gave a tired sigh. Those were questions to be asked in a moment. The first issue at hand was trust. Beyond that more tactical maneuvers could be made once the King returned from… where ever he went.

Riku turned back to Luxask as she continued to saying about what she had found in the old report. That name was brought up. He fell silent for a moment trying not to recall the memories it brought with it, but Riku nodded. It almost seemed fitting though. The worlds had gone so long without a time of war with the darkness one could assume it would have to happen sooner or later. “Of course. He always did have his way of leaving a mess behind,” Riku muttered under his breath though, the idea of the stones still on his mind. Was there a chance that there were more reports about telling of the stones? Anything was possible, but Ansem had only given Riku a CD with that document on in. He told him to keep it secret, on their way into Castle Oblivion. Riku suspected it contained plans for them if his attack on Xemnas’s Kingdom Hearts had failed, but he was never sure. It could have been just another shopping list with a request to get more sea salt ice cream. “As far as weapons go, the Moogles about the grounds might be carrying some supplies. If you have anything to synthesize too they’ll be happy to trade if you don’t have any munny.”

He shook his head briefly before turning to Kaiya who was still silently seething away. “See?” he asked his daughter, “She’s giving this information in earnest, without Xemnas. There’s no reason to jump the gun.. No pun intended.”

Kaiya glared, ignoring the fact that another person had just walked into the audience chamber. She closed her eyes, rolled her fingers over her upper arms, half intending to keep them occupied instead of reaching for her guns again. She merely muttered a “Fine,” before turning heel and going to the door. Another person walked in, a suave looking young man with long black hair. He said something but through her anger, she could only take note that his world had been destroyed. “Yeah, you and everyone else in this castle,” she said to him in passing, feeling as if she could have strangled the random bystander if she had actually stopped to chat. She’d have to take her anger out somewhere else. Blood on carpet wasn’t the easiest of clean ups.

“Don’t start a target practice against the bushes again,” Riku called after her. “The refugees are scared enough as it is, you don’t need to give them another reason to be.”

Kaiya flipped him the bird over her shoulder before closing the audience chamber door with a light slam.

Kiro jumped a little at the slam but let out a pent up sigh after she left. He felt Madison’s hand on his shoulder, which made him offer up a small smile. His mom had always been like that for some reason, like she had some grudge against the world. Every time he had asked her about it too, it would make the situation worse for him. It was just best to shut up around her and not be a bother. “Yeah who knows. It probably can’t get much worse though,” he said before following Lu’s lead, his focus on his Grandfather. “You know you shouldn’t patronize her like that. The last thing we need is a bullet through someone’s skull.” (Most likely his own.)

“Yes well, if I don’t, no one will,” Riku said with a smile recognizing his grandson almost instantly, though the faint scent of salt water was still new. Lulia wasn’t the only one who had it on her. “By the way, Kiro... How long were you planning on running away to the Islands?”

Kiro froze for a moment wondering how on earth he could have been caught. Then again, it was Riku. He chuckled rather sheepishly, “It was kind of spur of the moment. Better that then Heartless though, right?” he asked, having a light pleading tone in his voice as if asking Riku not to tell his mother. Riku shook his head once more as if to say something else, but Kiro changed the subject. “This is Madison Rogue and Jyuni Kisaragi. They’re from the Gardens too.”

Riku raised a brow slightly to that name. More old wounds were being torn at today it seemed. ‘Rouge… Reno’s granddaughter.’ A few members of the Organization, and now Reno’s hand was in this too. He had served as Zexion’s attack dog in the past. His actions had even lead to Sora’s appearance in Castle Oblivion. He stayed calm, an old grudge still lingering in the back of his mind. The third generation shouldn’t have to do with the sins of the first.

“Nice to meet you.”

((Tis ok. *goes to maul the keyboard*))

The daze of a forced sleep was lifting slightly as he heard the constant buzzing of a phone on silent. He reached over, feeling as if he were home in his apartment looking for his dresser. The walls were white here instead of a dingy gray. He groaned out, trying to remember if he had died and this was some sort of illusion before arriving in the pits of hell. But wait no, this was worse.

"Hospital. Right," he said to himself before trying to force his eyes open. His right eye remained shut under heavy bandages. The memory of claws digging through his face from a few hours ago came back. He lifted his hands over his face, feeling the make shift eye patch. His fingers lingered there, feeling something he imagined were stitches under the white stained linen. Sighing out, he turned his head reaching for the phone on the table near his bed side. He had missed 24 texts in the some two hours he was out.

Swearing under his breath he flipped open the phone so at least it wouldn't switch into voice mail and slowly lifted it to his ear. "'Ello?" he asked as if knowing already was on the other line.

"Sean? Good God man, I thought you had died on me," Roe started leaning over her desk at Head Quarters watching as a few doctors started to walk in. She would have to remember to lower her voice and keep swearing to a light minimum as long as there were still people in the lobby.

"I'm alright just dazed... Why the hell did you-" he started before Roe cut him off. He listened patently and gave out a long sigh. "Well they didn't cuff me to the bed, so I believe I can leave within the hour. Yes, Calling a cab would be helpful," he said intending to leave here without the doctors knowledge or permission. He had no time to be kept in a cage.

Roe paused though hearing the confirmation of Stratton coming back. Questions on the message she had sent out to the hunters had already started to spread and with Stratton's disappearance- Well. They paid them well enough to hunt down people in hiding, and much of a hunt included putting two and two together. She shook her head and turned back to her computer. "About your eye though, Sir..." she started on a more serious tone before she smiled sarcastically, "The hospital told me you'd need lazer surgery. If you're not staying though, you're going to need an eye patch. I took the liberty of getting a few for you from eBay. I personally like the pink Lolita one from Japan. Or there's one from a local costume shop with a skull and cross bones-"

"Roe," he said sternly wanting her to cut the jokes. It was worse enough that he was injured... by a bunny woman. No matter how he could spin that out in a story, NO ONE would be able to take it, and quite possibly him, seriously.

"Right, right. Sorry," Roe said her voice sounding a bit more sympathetic. She'd tease him still from time to time, in all good fun, but that tone meant she was crossing some line. The last thing she needed was on his bad side. She wondered even if he still had his gun hidden under his hospital clothes. "See you soon."

"Alright..." he started, "Also do me a favor and check on Nagita and Walcott. They went with me last night. See that they're alright." With that he hug up and attempted to sit upwards. When that didn't work he turned his head about to look about the room to his best ability. There were still unread messages he had to look at but he'd leave it off for the moment. He wasn't alone in the room, which he had mixed feelings about.

In the next bed over to his right there was another man. He looked as tired and wore out as himself, and getting used to the lack of vision would take some getting used to. He recognized him though, if his name complete escaped him. One of the Cross Workers? Or a Hunter? He sighed out wondering if he was even awake. "What are you here for?" he asked Quent, wanting to at least start small talk before wondering if he was just seeing things.

Walker paused, as she hung up the phone. 'Right,' she thought. Those had been the names of the two that had gone on the pick up of the kid. It should have been a simple mission. If only the other two that were with her would have just stayed out of it...

She sighed angrily to herself before pulling up the two names with their room numbers on her computer. Glancing over them she saw that only one of the two had checked into her office.. The other might have gone home. She didn't blame the thought though, it had been a long night for all of them. She read the room number again before heading up the floors. Her heels made a habit of clicking on the floor as she went. She personally hated wearing stilettos but she had her reasons of doing so. (Kicking people in the head with a heel was one of the most thrilling feelings in the world.)

She knocked on the door of Korin's office. "Hello? Anyone home?" she called out, not wanting to open the door just yet without permission.
