I think it would depend on my circumstances at the time. If i'd lost a particular body part I might be open to getting a cybernetic one.
However, everytime I think cybernetics, I think about the Borg, and that's not a road I'd like to walk down.

Hell with my crippled left should I would love cybernetics for it, I think of it like Ghost in the Shell just a mechanical arm, and nothing more to it. Though having a cyberbrain would be wicked sweet, would be able to roam the Internet during my ancient life class. As to what anyone would think? Why should it matter? It's my body, plus my left arm is pretty pathetic, I would love to get it replaced with a cybernetic arm.

If I lost a limb or if it were reduced to a marginal percentage of its original function, why not? After all, all of us are sure that we would have four limbs and a head, right? However, if I were offered cybernetics to "improve" the human "livestock," then I would protest against it. In short, it would depend.

HELLZ NO! Imagine your brain implant has a malfunction and all of a sudden it causes your heart to explode. Imagine it's a muscle implant to replace a muscle in your arm or something (which you could've learned to live with), it malfunctions then you can't move your arm. Let's say you get a brain implant, but unbeknownst to you, the government can(illegally) use said implant to control how you think, or how you act, or maybe to shut off certain body parts if you become a suspect in a case, or maybe turn you into an overly patriotic war machine.

Implants don't sound so fun now do they?

I'm naturally blind on my left eye. I always thought that if i ever get a glass eye i want a red LED in it to scare the hell out of people when it starts glowing in the dark.

Well maybe for enhancements like for example if it was possible to completely convert to android and still feel emotions and still have the same personality and my memories then yea consider me android lol. Because all it'd take is updates and replacement parts and you could live FOREVER, Bam science would have granted us immortality.
