Steampunk is BEAUTIFUL. I've seen some of it before, but not done quite like this; more for redesigns of objects, and slightly inspired clothing, but not quite like this. It's gorgeous. :0

My brother got me into liking the Weird West variation, specifically. I personally have been a bit more into cyberpunk, but with Weird West I can combine them a bit.

And I, too, am personally guilty of favoring a bit more cyberpunk flair in my Steampunk.

I call it Dystopian Steampunk and just credit it to alternate universe and/or post-apocalypse Steampunk media.

But, then again, I consider Firefly steampunk... so who knows...

ZOMG I'm not alone! When I first stumbled into this thread, that was, weirdly, one of the first things this style reminded me of. Firefly! And when you started putting together a "crew" of sorts, that came back into mind again! And ...yeah! heart

And since I'm realizing how probably-impractical it'd be to wear full-out Victorian-style clothes day-to-day (especially in this freakin' Florida heat), I'm thinking I'm going to probably end up with a much more modern!steampunk. With like jeans or something, and tie it together with accessories...

Also, that looks neat, Ladette. Also I'm fond of the hat... XD
