I've used 2 different browsers and it still takes me back to the same page. Anymore ideas?

yea, Firefox worked for me. I never use it though. I use Opera for everything lol.

I applied yesterday.. then today i got a warning for an inappropriate signature.. does this mean that i have basically blown my chances?

You'll just have to wait to find out. During my wait for my application I got an unofficial warning at least (I don't remember what it was for anymore) and I still made it into training. The staff will decide.

Okay. It was probably asked over and over already, but... if I apply, will I be automatically assigned to some forum, or will I have anything to say in this matter? I want to apply because the forum I frequent keeps being spammed all the time, but if it turns out I get assigned to a completely different forum it will defeat the purpose.

You are applying for the wrong reason. I respect that you want to watch out for the forum you frequent, however you must understand that being a mod means being there for gaia when you are needed despite whatever forum you are put in. No forum here doesn't have it's share of problems due to individuals that want to ruin everyone elses fun.

Not true. If you have old outdated offenses they can look past that depending on the severity of the offense. I've had a bunch of unofficial warnings and still was accepted into training at the time i applied sweatdrop Everyone makes mistakes. More honest ones are forgivable.

I have set my posts messages to "friends only" because of all the spam I've been receiving... Can the Admin still contact me about my application? Or should I turn it back to "everyone"? sweatdrop

I'm guessing you mean your messages. And yes, Staff can still PM even if you have them set to not receive them from anyone except friends or no one at all.
