so I'm acting for the second year in a row at the haunted house in my town and i need some make up help. Anyone know how to make a realistic human bit mark. Not just the mark but with blood. also it'd be nice if it could be ripped away flesh from said bit but as long as you can give me a bit it'd be great. biggrin

You could try and recreate the bite mark from twilight o.o
Although I'm not sure what type of bite mark you're going for..

EDIT: do vampire bite marks count? xD

Theres a putty that you can get, it's like a balistic gel, and its primerally used to make fake ripped up flesh wounds. Also, use red food colouring, fake blood, and if you want a bruised effect try going over if lightly with a black or blue eyeshadow around the edges ;D

It really depends upon what your're going for, but theres many ways of making an awesome bite mark xD

For realistic blood, get four pack food coloring and corn syrup.
Don't just use red coloring though because it won't come out looking like blood but more like a Candy Apple and that's not at all what you want.
Mix 4 drops of red, three drops of blue, one drop of yellow and a few drops of green.
Of course that mixture depends on what food coloring you have (some brands come out brighter than others) and also on if you got light or dark corn syrup.
It's safe to get in your mouth if something accidentally happens.
I used this method a lot in high school drama during our Stage Combat unit.
Or if you just want to have it quick then click here

As for bite marks. Try some scar wax. Here is a product I used for when I was a Zombie in a a skit my Drama class did. It works really well if you put it on carefully.
Ben Nye has a lot of useful Stage Makeup products and whatnot. I get all my stuff by Ben Nye.

If there is any sort of theatrical makeup store near you, you could always stop in and ask for suggestions. If not, there is a variety of products to use, depending on how much you are wanting to spend.

You can probably find a foam piece of a bite mark that can be glued on and colored. Or, if you want to sculpt it yourself, you can try a product like Third Degree or similiar special effects putty/wax. There is a wide variety of makeup products to color it with. Blood can be bought or made according to the directions someone else provided.
