How long do you practice every day? I practice half an hour 6 days a week.

An effective practice session for me can't be less than an hour and a half for me. That's just what I've found to be true.

I practice singing nearly every day, though I give myself periods of vocal rest every so often so I don't strain myself. I probably sing for like three hours a day. |

Practice tuba practically an hour a day guitar 2 hours, 5 days total? and others when I have time...

I practice guitar a couple hours every day.
Let's see.... thirty minutes in the morning, 40 minutes during school on Mondays, 70 minutes or more on Wednesdays and Fridays in school. 2 hour guitar lessons on Thursdays. I usually add a couple hours after that depending on the situation. Sometimes my practice time will be in a 3-4 hour rehearsal I go to every week which also involves composing and arranging, and then I'll play after that. Or sometimes I am recording something which involves more perfect playing and less practice, but that's sort of practice anyways. And I always play guitar after I finish HW, I usually play guitar while I'm watching a TV show too. I really didn't need to write all of that.... *sighs* |

Yeah, 90-120 minutes for me. Usually I don't just sit down and do nothing but that, but spread it out across the day.

I generally practice anywhere from a half hour to an hour a day in the sense that I will be actively working on something for me lessons or general technique. I find intensely doing these things more than that can even be counter productive.
I am however, always playing, simply because its something I love to do. In fact I tend to find simply messing around while watching tv or talking with people to be the most productive forms of "practice" for me. It sort of slips in subconciously, if that makes any sense. However I find the initial intense half hour session important for getting whatever I'm working on down in me head so as to be able to do it casually subsequently in the first place. |

I generally practice whenever Deathsensation mentions it on the phone. That's usually...once a week, if that. And then I practice for twenty minutes.
I said I played guitar. I never said I played it A LOT. |
