My goal for the past couple of years was to become healthier and to maintain a better diet and stuff.
I'm doing alright on all that mess, but I really wanted to be 100 pounds before the summer was over. I mean.. Being a toothpick isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'm 5'1 and as of this morning I weigh 92 pounds. The other day I weighed 98, and I was SO excited.
I suppose you could imagine the disappointment.
I've never been able to reach 100.

Then why do I keep gaining weight without even trying? It's that easy.

because underweight people are usually underweight for a reason they can't control and can't physically eat a normal healthy amount of food without throwing up or sometimes the body just doesnt gain anything from it.

Have you tried strength-training in order to build more muscle? You'll have to eat more protein, like chicken or fish, on top of your regular diet to get results. And muscle obviously weighs more than fat, so you'll still look nice and be healthy while you're gaining.

Up your protein and start some weight training to build up muscle. Remember the rule for bulking up is more weight, less repetitions, instead of less weight, more reps for getting lean. And while you're doing so, increase your calories per day, so you don't burn all of them off when you're exercising.

Well, my brother often has to gain weight really fast, and lose it really fast for wrestling. : P
When he wants to gain weight, he eats A LOT of banana's, and drinks a lot of whole milk.

o_o Try eating more often. Three large meals a day, and then three smaller snacks in between those meals.

I'm sure there is some sort of protein shake out there that will also help you gain weight.

That is true im 4'10 and weight 85lbs. i'm trying gain healthy weight. It is hard and I'm underweight!
