The result of a thread is the culmination of EVERYONE'S actions-- if everyone who posts in this thread is going to voice nothing but the assumption of failure, then it will fail.

HOWEVER, if all those who only are here to post their two cents about "Oh, this thread is going to fail" would just shut the hell up and post about the music, this thread will serve the purpose that it's supposed to: the discussion of an artist and his career.

Me too! I think Vanilla may be my favorite (: I miss his Malice Mizer stuff though.

Illuminati makes me strangely jittery and happy, and I giggle a lot. The PV's kind of strange, but good nonetheless.

and many others. I like Gackt not only for his looks, but for the simple fact that he is very talented. I suppose the looks part is what made him really famous though, but thats ok cus i dont mind. In fact I heard his voice before i saw a pic of him and i instantly had to go and buy a cd and the convention that was going on that week. So yah happy to see that this thread is back on track.

The same goes for me, at first I had never seen him but my friend had one of his CD's,after I heard it I asked to borrow it and well ta-da here is the Gackt fan in me. Then I saw his looks and all that happened I thought "Oh yay, a bouns wink " The first song I ever heard had to be Another World and today still one of my favorites.

personally i dont think he was trying to make a fashion statment. Alot of people use cornrows as a method of growing hair really fast. So i think thats what he was trying to do, but i could be wrong.
