None of those warranted a study

And now I see the factors that you're putting in.

And therefore even moreso consider your point bullshit.

If it causes the console to fail in any way, it's a problem. Hell, the DREs resulted in a class-action lawsuit.

whats the record of people being on their number ps2? because I've heard stores of people being on their 13th 360, and 5 is pretty damn common your telling me ps2 revivals that wow your retarded

Way to dodge the point.

Tells me that you really don't have that link that you claim you do.

did a google search found one who's on his 12th http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3160603 and lol get this it was in 2007 I wonder how many times it's broken since then

Again:

That's not the point.

I'm not denying the fact that the 360 has a high fail rate.

I just take issue with your claim that it has the highest ever, which is, in fact, impossible to prove.

By impossible standards by any realistic standards it's incredibly easy and I have hundreds of times over

By sayiing "highest failrate ever", you set those impossible standards on yourself.

It does have the highest fail rate so far this gen, unless these firmware failures get so rampant that it actually does overtake the RRoD, but that's doubtable.

If you say "ever", then you do need to prove it, from the 1970's on.

Only make claims you can actually back with proof.

07 issue holds no merits since it is in fact 2009.

Just put Ignorance on ignore Lang we all know the b.s s/he spews out. s/he has been doing so for months now. s/he can't prove his/her claim of it being the highest fail rate in history. s/he never could. Again I doubt that s/he even owns any game console.

I will say that it is probably the highest ever failrate.. but there is nothing that supports that other than word-of-mouth, and it's not exactly like we have a whole bunch of people here that were around when the Atari's or Magnavox's first came out. The failrate is kind of a moot point considering Microsofts billion dollar backing for replacements. Admittedly that's a risk I personally am not willing to take and why I don't own a 360... but... I am somewhat of a fanboy and if the same thing was happening with the PS3.. I would be on my 27th by now and still arguing it's the best system.

I don't personally care about the fail rate because it doesn't affect me. Ever since the falcon chipset, the RRoD problem has improved tremendously. My 360 has yet to have a hiccup, whereas both my Wii and my PS3 have crashed.

If there ever was a time
If there ever was a chance
To undo the things Ive done
And wash these bloodstains from my hands
It has passed and been forgotten
These are the paths that we must take
Cause you and I Tom we are men
And we can bend and we can break

I admittedly have a strong sense of security with Sony systems only having one slim needing to be replaced that melted discs, and that was replaced free of charge under warranty. I've had many friends lose their 360s and lament to me that they'd own a ps3 if it wasn't for the price (which goes to your point that it's not so bad anymore as I haven't heard too many RroD squeals from my friends as of late, the only one being from a die-hard xbox friend of mine).

Either way as long as the companies are backing up their warranties then I think failrate is a non-issue in this discussion except as to a reflection on the companies that produce the consoles themselves as opposed to the consoles. Every electronic breaks or wears out at some point, and if you like it that much you'll tolerate it.

It only covers about half of all the failrates on the extended warranty your still more likely to have to pay to get your 360 repaired then ps3, and the fact that they had to shell out billions on repairs proves it has the highest failrate of the history of consoles

In their most recent warranty policy all RroD issues and E74 issues are covered for three years, with all other ones being covered for one year. I hate 360 and I know that much...

Only half of what you inadequate imbecile? Are you trying to say that no other console has ever failed? Just because none of mine ever have doesn't mean I'll disbelieve that it's ever happened.

To be called a biased fanboy is somewhat of a disgrace. You sir, are only worthy of being called a disgrace.
