Sticky: The Halo 3 containment sticky. Now with ODST!

i cant get matchmaker working, does anyone want to play with me to see if its my internet connection, i really wanna get on live gonk

hmm, there are 2 things ruining the game for me:

the crappy AI (i mean, i let one of them drive the mongoose and they put it straight into a ditch and trapped themselves. another time one genius a** marine took me in a warthog right next to a wraith and we both died)

the weak weapon sounds (i mean, the guns sound more like airsoft guns than things full of gunpowder... its a bit worrying why they left the guns sound so weak, as 60% of the game is sounds... with like 40k sounds for people talking and 2.6k for footstep sounds)


but apart from that, im loving my legendary set. the halo 3 multiplayer is really good and i like the unlockables (i like earning something from the killing... like on CoD4) and all the maps, forge and whatnot

actually, the collision tolerance on the havok in Forge is far too intense... things just collapse and shake and its a tad annoying.

ohwell, cant wait to complete the story. im on something like the level after Last Stand. so far its been a really nice game to play! (though its harder, because usually i complete halos on easy to start with... but this time im starting it on heroic)



edit: can someone tell me how to make custom gametypes? the new GUI is confusing me a tad

Does anyone know where the final skull is hidden?

This is what we know so far, nobody knows for sure the exact process to activate the skull or its exact location.

* The Skull is on the level, “The Covenant”
* The Skull is the most difficult in the game to find
* According to ferrex (from Bungie), the Skull is found in ways that we have yet to imagine
* Hint included in the Game Code suggests: “Interred at the Foundry’s edge.” This indicates that the Skull is somewhere near the end of the level, most likely in the area with the Halo Ring Holograms and the Prophet of Truth. (Added 9/28/07 @ 10:47)
* Unconfirmed Reports of one of the Bungie Team communicating with people on Bungie.net, and from a picture of some new Game Code Suggests that the Skull is activated rather than found by jumping through the rings in a certain order. (Added 9/28/07 @ 10:47)
* The Halo Rings in the last part of the level each produce a specific note. All of the notes combined make up the same notes played in the Halo Theme Song. The Notes in order from First (Entrance) Ring to last are: B C# D E F# G A. (Added 9/28/07 @ 10:47)

i cant stand this whole halo hype. on every frigging gamesite you see nothing but this game...and btw it is way overhyped. after all its just another shooter with nice gfx.
on gametrailers.com you cant even watch the other videos withouth any lag since theres halo 3 which sux very very hardcore. im anoyed.

actually Microsoft plans to start hyping halo 4 in the next few weeks

The Halo series is pretty obviously a prequel to marathon when you look at all the clues and hints.
