Announcement: [Temp] Regarding Spam Posts in Threads!

Hi there!

Lately there have been a large number of spam reports coming in from the Friends Chat forum. These posts are mostly gibberish posts or users quoting the first posts of threads. Since this seems to be such a big trend, and there are so few Moderators to combat this, thread owners have been granted the ability to delete posts in the threads that they create here in the Friends Chat forum. This means that you guys will be able to clean up your threads, without waiting for us to do it for you.

Just a few things to keep in mind:

• Delete spam posts from your threads. If a user is continually spamming, please make sure to report the user. However, a few spam posts from a user is something that you should be able to clear up with no problem (without having to report it).
  
  
• Please report any other Terms of Service violations normally. We will be able to handle these quicker and easier with less spam reports to handle.
  
  
• If a user is becoming too disruptive in your thread, it may be best to place them on your ignore list, which will prevent the user from posting in your thread.
