I love cats. Dogs are worse in that way, though. My aunt's dogs would just crawl onto my lap everytime I was about to get up, then give me cute little puppy-dog eyes when I went to get up. D: |

Lord of the Rings is pretty awesome, even though I have to admit I didn't really read the books. I read part of the Hobbit, but it was a little boring. :[

It's about this really brilliant scientist, Eliie Arroway, who discovers a message from space. It's really good, and it deals with stuff like the prejudice in the 50s/60s against women in science, and also with religious stuff (from both sides), and the possibility of aliens. When she finds the message and decodes it, it turns out to be a blueprint to build a transportation sort of thing, and it's really cool what happens.

Moby d**k, Unseen Academicals and a Nicholas Evans book I can't recall the name of right now.
Back home I have Sherlock Holmes and I have three authors to try reading from. D: |

Moby d**k is the only one I recognize, but I've never read it. It never seemed that appealing. Is that what you're reading for school? Right now for school I have to read "Heart of Darkness." I was excited because my teacher told us people go insane in the book, but so far it's not that interesting.
I've never read any Sherlock Holmes either, even though my dad had a few of them. |
