I would like to point out that in your signature you bear a striking resemblance to my high school's then resident flaming homosexual man-whore who flashed me his penile jewelery on many a separate occasion.

Don't worry. It's generally something completely different when Shrantic flashes his piece.
So that's what he's calling it now?

I disagree and ironic that someone who speaks out against fear. Is using it to argue his point.

All the love in the world can't be gone.
All the need to be love can't be wrong.
Without a public under their control, the Government is powerless. If people simply worked together and didn't fall down before tyrants, we wouldn't need to own weapons. So I disagree with your air-tight logic.

Violence is silly and a half-arsed solution.

In that case, the whole of America is half-arsed. neutral

Why would anyone ever want 12 hand grenades?
You're kidding, right? I'd love a dozen grenades.

I agree with this, except I believe that violence is necessary should push come to shove.

This is what I was talking about.

Government is tyrannical --> Breach of social contract --> loss of legitimacy --> Loss of support from military/police due to loss of legitimacy --> Revolution/Coup

Also, there would most likely be support from anti-American nations in which an overthrow of the current government would be in their best interests... this is all hypothetical of course.

I believe this could happen. The only difficult part of this is trying to unite everyone together.

The people should be able to overthrow the government whenever they want, assuming more than 50% of people wish to do so.

sorry but I like Plato's government where the intellectually elite rule over the classes with total authority, and with every person being able to become that ruler through the process in the Republic.

You don't have to unite everyone. Just a majority of those that give a damn. So about 25%. And not even all of them have to do more than participate passively.
