To go back to the first post, one issue that I thought was very interesting was related to our public health care.
Of course, as everyone knows, Canada has public health care. This includes sex reassignment surgery. At least, it did until just this past summer. In Alberta they decided that it no longer counted as a necessary procedure so it was reclassified as cosmetic, and those wanting to have it done must pay out of pocket. I think this is awful.
