For anyone that regularly goes to the gym, I'm looking for tips on what your routines are like. I'm planning on making use of the school facilities on a regular basis when I go back in January, and I'm a complete newbie at using it.

I'm not "fat" by any means. however, I am looking to tighten/tone my body. thanks smile

I work at Walmart as an unloader.

GREAT exercise, great cardio.

I weighed something like 180 lb when I started.

I'm something like 120 now. The pounds have melted away.

Well...it all depends on your kind of wrestler...Are you a brawler like Brody and Hogan or acrobatic like Mysterio and Dynamite? One thing to work on, NO MATTER WHAT, is landing. I once messed up a front drop kick. I was up to chin level and fell, hitting my upper back. I had to stomach breathe for a few seconds. Ugh...so yeah work on damage minimalization. Also, self control is key. Showing a little light occasionally is ok if it means that you don't end up retiring a wrestler accidentally, like those power plant guys or Goldberg. Also, stretch...Alot...

That entire paragraph was worthless in this post .But if you really want some tips then start with light weight and do lots of reps with it.if you just wanna tone your body then mainly do core workouts not other muscle groups.itll bring up your endurance and when you want to work on arms, shoulders, chest, legs,or calfs then you can do alot more and keep at a steady pace.even if your sore in the morning continue the next day but now with the same muscle group.it takes 48 hours for a muscle to recover fully.your stomach is the only one you can workout everyday so stick to that.but mentally just stay committed.if you do something one day and quit or get lazy the next then thats another bit of a better body you couldve had.find a routine that works good for you no matter what that is.if its every other day then stick to it.if its twice one week and 3 times the next week then stick to that.

Hmmm... I would also like tips.

I'm around 5'9" or 5'10"
and I weigh about 132lbs.

I'm benchpressing 145lbs getting only 4 reps...
and then I move down to 140 lbs and get 7 reps
and I finish off with as many diamond/wide pushups as I can....been using that routine for quite a few weeks now.

I wanna know how I can pump on more muscle. Mainly upper body. I'm getting ready for my JV year of Football season.

I think it might be because I'm skinny, but it's kinda tough for me to build muscle.
I've tried weight gainers but I still seem to be burning those off. I'm a runner in track right now too, but I've never been able to gain weight.

run a mile or 2

Do mutliple reps at lighter weights. That will build lean muscle. As for cardio, maintain a high rate of speed while on the bike. You would also count food. Not calories. What worked for me was 6 oz of a carb and 4 oz of a protein. That should get you through 4-6 hours. And avoid sports drinks, only water ...
