Personally I've had a lot of friends in band (I was never in it, not my thing) but they were in Marching Band, now that IS physically tiring and straining, I'd consider Marching Band a sport. But if you are just in a band class sitting inside playing music..then no.

Pretty much anything where you move and compete is a sport, so I think so. ^_^

Look at it this way, anything that you can win can be considered a sport. Gambling in it self is a sport, seeing as playing does take a sort of skill and it is against an opposing group.
Sport is usually mistaken by physical action such as running a football down the field, but in term sometimes does take more logic and skill like pocketing the 8 in the far corner. So, if it's in competition then yes it's a sport. Besides, there is such a thing called wussy sports. |
