Something's up with my PC Cd/DVD Player. It can read CDs but not DVDs. It makes it like their not even there. What do you think it is?

There are a bunch of different possibilities. The first thing I would ask is are you sure it's a DVD drive and not a DVD-W or something? Another thing I would ask is whether this was factory built of if you built it yourself. I would also have to ask what DVD you're putting inside (movie, game, blank, etc.)

I don't see a w, it's factory and mostly Movies and Anime.

And you said it doesn't detect the disc right? Cause if it says it can't be played, you may not have a DVD playing software that you would need to play it. If it's not being detected, check to see that the disc is clean/not scratched.

The disks are fine. Maybe it is the drive.
