Sporkii
I changed my vista stuff today, I had to replace explorer.exe, browseui.dll and ieframe.dll to get the custom stuff to work. Replaced all that, no prob. Everything seemed to work perfect.
Buttttt.
If I go to control panel, before the window opens it tells me "The ordinal 120 could not be located in the dynamic link library ietutil.dll" in a window titled "control.exe - Ordinal Not Found". But if I hit ok, it continues opening and functions just fine.
And then I found out games don't work. I've got Rappelz and the Allods Online beta on here, and neither opens. Rappelz launcher tells me "Failed to create empty document." and the Allods launcher tells me "Allods Online.Update system. has stopped working" in one of those vista type error windows with all the info.
Should I just undo what I did, or is there something else I can do to fix this?
... Did you happen to edit this through the System32 folders?... If so... That is quite a sin.
NEVER, EVER, DO THAT AGAIN!...
Your best bet is to just
REFORMAT your whole computer buddy... If you think it's not the case, could you give us some more details? Such as computer behavior as you use it on a daily basis, etc.
