I like playing Booty Grab on Gaia to rake in some extra gold but the problem is my browser Mozilla Firefox. If I've played 3 or 4 games, Firefox starts to almost EAT my CPU. 99% CPU usage and it won't go down unless I close the browser entirely. I don't want to have to do that every time so I wonder which browser is good for that sort of thing. Internet Explorer 8 is a memory eater and it runs 3 iexplore.exe processes if I have only one open window. Google Chrome maybe? Opera? Safari?

How does that help them?

They said they were using Firefox, and it's obviously not working for them.

You can try Google Chrome as a possible work around but my first inclination is to ask you if you're running a few add-ons to Firefox, as for me, I run Firefox completely clean and experience little to no problems, so if you have a bunch of random add-ons I suggest disabling or removing the ones you don't use.

I have Tektek Gaia Online Toolbar and Adblock Plus and I'm using both of them so disabling them is not an option here. Besides, my computer is almost 5 years old so I think it may also be a performance issue here.

If your concerned about performance I recommend posting your computer specifications as well. And if performance truly is an issue, I would recommend Google Chrome assuming it doesn't have issues playing any of the Gaia games.

Well admittingly sometimes with older or low functioning PC's Google chrome doesn't always
work JavaScript but that's being resolved. Normally works though.

memory would have nothign to do with it, if its outdated you may need more RAM, better graphics card ect. although i doubt you would need it...maybe a new computer is in order? assuming you have the finances to get one

When you go to play booty grab, close any threads with aquariums in them.

Why I didn't know Google Chrome was a browser, I thought it was some kind of add in. Anyway I have Firefox and I don't experiencing the problem your experiencing. Perhaps the problem isn't browser...
