Is anyone else having problems watching movies in Gaia cinemas while using Firefox 3?

I'm also having problems with this. I decided to watch a movie on Gaia for the first time today. When I clicked on the movie, it just had something pop up and tell me I had to install the IDM FlashPlugin. I did it, and after reloading it still showed the same page.
Multiple tries gave me the same result. It was very frustrating! Blahh... |

I've tried to watch movies with ie and firefox2 and 3 and for the first two I can get into the theatres, but instead of the movie all I get is black screens. With firefox3 all I got was white. I want to watch underworld T~T

i have gotten the same IDM flash plugin download, now when i try to open a movie the entire page will show up and only an advertisement will appear on top but a white screen under it and it doesn't load...

mine isn't that bad, it's just the cinema movies that don't work for me.
i think it might have something to do with vista. are all u guys running vista too? if so, we have our reason. there is no upgrade for IE yet for vista, so everyone else is running a version higher than us. seeing as firefox uses alot of IE code etc that'd explain why neither works. if nothing at all is working for you, try upgrading your flash and shockwave players/drivers. i know that's a bit like saying "have you plugged it in?" but *shrug* i can't think of anything else. would be nice if an official could answer this for us. |

Cinimas is also the only thing that won't work for me, but I run 2000. I've also, in the last 24 hours, upgraded from Firefox 2 to Firefox 3, and gone back because FF3 sucks.
To those who were having issues with FF2, did the program crash for you as well? When I was in the theater, it worked fine until it tried switching from the commercial to the actual movie, then FF came up with an error, and had to close the program. That was what prompted my breif upgrade to FF3, only to have the same ad-bar and white-screen problem that others have been mentioning. Haven't attempted anything with Internet Exploder, and have no intent to... Figures that Gaia finally has movies I'd be interested in watching, and they don't work. xP |
