Art requests. I have trouble drawing for other people. Yet the moment someone (usually less talented than I am) finds out I'm an artist and they see my work, they ask me to draw something. kajgsfksh NO.

I also get annoyed that people often have no respect for my work space. If we're sharing a table, they'll keep shaking it or bumping into my work like it's no big deal.

people standing behind me and watching me draw ( i don't mind though if they are sitting beside me and watching though)

when people make corrections to my art without asking me, just taking my pencil away and start scribbing on my paper

and when my eraser smudges or rips a hole on my paper

One time I was drawing, when a cow hit me from up above.... It was a stuffed animal, but still, I refuse to draw around animals now.

what i really dont like is whenever i ink in a drawing, and someone barges in my room and messes me up ;_;

I hate when my hands get shacky! crying

It bothers me when people press down on the pencil too hard, so that even after they erase a line, you can still see it. Also, when anything, and I mean ANYTHING, interrupts me while I'm inking a picture and makes me mess up, it makes me so angry I could rip the head off of a little kid's teddybear and not feel bad afterwards. but i don't, for reasons obvious enough e3e
OH. and I hate not being able to locate my eraser when I really need it, only to find out that it has been in my lap the whole time.

When my art is criticized by people who don't know anything about it. I mean, come on... You're not Van Gogh... So, stop telling me that my proportions are wrong, or the shading seems a bit off. I appreciate the constructive criticism, but when you're acting as if you know everything and are better then me...

I might just have to pop a cap in your a**.

They overcame the limits of their minds and let their souls reach out to embrace the beauty...

I think it bothers me most when people draw OVER my drawings, or write over them.

My dad's done that one a few times. Wanted to deck him.

Other than that, I'm with Twilight Spectrum. People sharing tables and keep moving them around drives me absolutely off the wall. People watching is okay as long as they're three feet away.

After all, one knows one's weak points so well, that it's rather bewildering to have the critics overlook them and invent others.

Hmmm. Its not quite a pet peeve, more of a frustration.

When people will stop, look at the work I do, comment how they like an original picture ive done, spend time looking at it, and then in the blink of an eye go buy a piece of fanart.

when the first comment or critique I get is "why is she/he so fat?"
rolleyes oh golly, I'm sorry I didn't draw them looking like an anorexic emo phrat.

Art critics are probably my biggest pet peeve, you can know all the art history you wish, write for the most fashionable magazines, and know powerfull people, but it doesn't mean you know how to lable art. Only the indivitual can truely place their own price tag on a piece, it doesn't matter what anyone says.

when you didn't save your work on the computer, say for paint or photoshop, and you just spent long agonizing hours detailing or pixeling each pixel and BAM! computer freezes/crashes/power-outage. crying
and then there's spilling soda or w/e on something you spent a good hour drawing.

I think the biggest pet peeve of mine would be realizing that I have no more disk space on my computer while I'm working on a drawing in Photoshop! scream I'm also including art peepers, people who draw on my work and art copycats on my list.
