• *The sky is midnight blue, and the time is 7 PM. A black mini van drives along a path through the woods. In the van, a 19 year old girl is recording with a video camera. Her name is Serenity. She's filming a scary documentary for a Halloween festival, and hopes to win.*


    *Serenity faces the camera to herself.*


    Serenity: Ok, so here we are at the woods, and we will be camping out here for a few hours!! I'm with my dearest friends...


    *She faces the camera to her friend, Travis, who is driving the van.*


    Serenity: Travis, tell the camera what you think about these woods.


    Travis: Well, there have been people disappearing here, you know...


    Serenity: Seriously? ._.


    *Her friend Nathan, taps Serenity, and she faces the camera to him.*


    Nathan: Just to let all you viewers know that people have come into these woods, and never coming back out...


    Travis: Yep. Also, the stalkers there kill anyone with anyone's name beginning with a "s".


    Serenity: Shut up >_>


    *Serenity faces the camera to her friend, Heidi, who is teing her hair in a ponytail.*


    Serenity: What about you, little missy?


    Heidi: Yeah, let's try and make this quick because I have an essay due on Monday.


    Serenity: You should've bought your bookbag.


    *Heidi gives Serenity "the look".*


    *Travis turns another corner.*


    Nathan: To be honest, I've been looking forward to this.


    Serenity: (not believing him) Oh, really?


    Nathan: Yep! Can't wait to disappear in the woods...just like how everyone else did when they came.


    Serenity: Very funny...cut the crap.


    Travis: It's true! I don't know why you don't believe us.


    Serenity: Whatever. >_> It was Nathan's idea to go here after all, so you can blame him.


    Nathan: Gee, thanks.


    Heidi: Make sure we don't get lost...


    Travis: All we have to do is drive back the way we came.


    Serenity: Where's the food?


    Nathan: In this bag.


    Serenity: Get me a cereal bar? :]


    *Nathan takes it out and throws it at her.*


    Serenity: Ow..! Don't throw that at me! D<


    Nathan: Too late. :]


    *Serenity faces the camera to herself.*


    Serenity: See? This is what I have for friends...flat out jerks!


    Travis: You don't mean that. You love us. :]


    Serenity: Yeah... -.-


    *Heidi picks up a flashlight, turns n the switch, but no light flashes out.*


    Heidi: Our flashlights don't work anymore.


    Serenity: Are you serious?


    Heidi: Yep. Batteries died out.


    Nathan: How? I just bought those batteries...


    Serenity: From where?


    Nathan: Errmm... >_>


    Travis: Dollar Store.


    Serenity: That explains it, you cheap b***h. -3-


    Nathan: I wasn't going to spend ten dollars on frickin batteries.


    Heidi: (laughing) They don't even cost that much. xDD


    Nathan: The ones that SERENITY wanted were.


    Serenity: Well we need those flashlights to last, you know? D:


    Heidi: How far are we going to go?


    Serenity: That's up to Travis.


    Travis: Oh, NOW you tell me??


    *Travis stops, on the side of the path.*


    Serenity: Well, you ARE the driver. You can decide when to stop.


    *Serenity gets out of the van, carrying one of her bags.*


    *Everyone else, gets out, carrying the luggage.*






    *Serenity zooms in on the woods.*


    Serenity: Wow, this is going to be nice..!


    Nathan: You said it.


    *Serenity faces the camera to Nathan, and sees that he's drinking vodka.*


    Serenity: Oh my God, you bought alchohal??


    Nathan: Yep! Wouldn't be a party without it!


    Serenity: Oh my God, put it away! People are going to watch this, you know!


    Travis: Aww come on. It'll be fine.


    Serenity: Uh, not really!


    Heidi: Where do you guys want the tent?


    Travis: Not too far, because I want the car to be visible.


    Nathan: (Offering vodka to Serenity) Want some?


    Serenity: No, I don't want some, put it away! My parents are going to see this.


    Nathan: Pfft, like I care...


    Serenity: Fine, if you over sleep we won't wait for you to get up. Once we leave, we LEAVE.


    Nathan: That's cold. D:


    Serenity: Well, it's the truth.


    Travis: Let's just do what we came here to do, ok?


    Serenity: Sure...


    *She turns the camera off.*









    *Serenity turns the camera back on, in the tent.*


    Serenity: It's midnight...and so far nothing happened. We're all ok.


    *She faces the camera to Nathan, who is sleeping.*


    *She faces the camera to Travis, who is lying down, with his hands behind his head. She faces the camera to Heidi, who is taking out the scrunchie in her hair, having her hair fall down.*


    Travis: What time is it?


    Heidi: It's around midnight.


    Serenity: (to Heidi) Does your phone have service?


    Heidi: Nope...none.


    Travis: That sucks...


    Serenity: Eh, it'll be alright. It's not like we're staying here for long anyway.


    *Serenity yawns.*


    Serenity: Don't worry guys, this prize is ours once we get back home.


    Travis: Yep...i'm going to sleep now.


    Heidi: Alright, night.


    Serenity: Goodnight.


    *Travis pulls the covers over him.*


    Serenity: (to Heidi) Are you going to sleep, too?


    Heidi: I'll stay up with the camera.


    Serenity: You sure?


    Heidi: Yep.


    Serenity: Alright, here.


    *She hands the camera to Heidi.*


    Heidi: Goodnight.


    Serenity: Night.


    *Serenity pulls the covers over her and blows out the candle.*






    *Heidi leaves the tent, recording.*


    Heidi: It's cold...


    *We can see her breath.*


    *She walks around, the leaves crunching.*


    *We hear the crickets and the owls howl.*


    *She faces the camera to the sky.*


    Heidi: No stars...


    *She then looks at the trees.*


    Heidi: These woods are so boring...


    *As she steps more away, she suddenly hears a soft weep from the distance.*


    *Heidi turns to the direction where she heard the weeping.*


    Heidi: (to herself) What the hell...?


    *It sounded like a woman weeping softly.*


    Heidi: H...hello...?


    *She walks closer toward the weep.*


    *It began to get colder.*


    *She begins shivering.*


    *Suddenly, the weeping begins turning into screaming.*


    *Heidi stops.*


    Heidi: H-hello?


    *She begins to back away.*


    *Suddenly, she feels a hand rest on her shoulder.*


    *Heidi screams and runs back to the tent, with the screaming growing louder.*


    *She hurries back in the tent and zippers it from the inside.*


    *She then sits in the tent, breathing heavy, hugging her knees, scared to death...*
