When I woke up the next morning I sighed, looking at my knotted, curly shoulder-length hair. I was so not looking forward to another day sitting alone and drawing morbid things in my sketchpad.
But if I ever wanted to get a decent job and get the hell out of here, I had to. I was going to have to get into a college. That meaning, since my family would NEVER have to money to send me, I'd have to scholarships.
So, I put on a tank top, baggy jeans with holes on the knee parts, converse, and ran out the door, praying I didnt miss the bus. And with my luck, I probably did. To my surprise, when I got there, the bus was there. I got on and sat next to this kid in my class who no one talked to, Jasmine, I think her name is. I've talked to her a few times, but as always, no one understands me.

"Oh, hello, glad to see you're on time today." My favorite teacher, Mrs. Lawrence greeted me.
"Hey," I smiled and sat in my seat, ready to hear today's language arts lecture.
