• chapter 1 pt. 2
As Ashley made her way toward me, my concentraction broke. " Well? are you coming?" She rushed. She reached out her arm, and as my hand slid into her warm grip, I blushed. I rose from my throne, and made my way out of my sanctuary. Ashley was a very beautiful girl. She had the most precious saet of teal colored eyes, and lovely brown hair. She had impecable style, and had all of the boys' attention everywhere she went. She was coveted by all of the girls, for her fashion sence. Ashley and I are the same age, and have been together for as long as I can remeber. We were like sisters. I met her when I was young, after I realized my family was gone.

I have been together with her for so long, because I have no friends. And in an impossible to explain way, I might be getting closer to her then she will allow. Her body was compelling. I watched her hips sway in perfect rythm while she walked. I felt as if I was in a trance. She had great style, personality, and most of all, she had a life. Three things I will never have.

"Hey...HEY! We have to get to class, what is the matter with you?" She rushed. "Sorry," I assured. "I must have gotten lost in tought again." As I usually do.

I lazily wallowed into my daily routine of sluggishly crawling to the final, most painful class of the day. Algebra. The material was not as bad as the teacher, and I was seperated form Ashley, who has 2 other classes with me during the day.

Our teacher, Mr. Reigezhelk, was the first born male of his blood line in our city. He chose his last name while working on a math problem, which made people question his legitimacy as a sane man. "Everything can be solved with math" He once said. While I admired the thought, I wasn't buying it.

"Alexander, why don't you start the day off by answering our daily warm-up"? "But Mr. Reigezhelk, I haven't done it yet. I haven't even gotten out my books or nothing." The teacher enjoyed picking on students that didn't pay attention, so Alex Mason was a popular target. "Well, maybe if you applied yourself you would be prepared."

Class went as expected. I sat alone, in the corner of the room for "saftey" reasons. People didn't trust me with their own lives, as if I couldn't control my own. I liked sitting here, because no one bothered me. No one talked to me. The only one who payed any mind was the teacher. He constantly looked at me, and I was always first to be called for answers. He gave me good grades, even if I failed a test. And I swear I've seen him smell one of my reports after I turned it in once.

I've told Ashley, and she agrees that it's a little wierd, but I try to ignore it. He isn't the only one who does that. All boys around school seem to like me. "Damn, girl!" "Oh you fine!" Or even "Mmm, look at that a**." Seem to come out of their mouths at all times of the day. It used to bother me, but I've gotten used to it.

The bell rang, and I headed for the door where Ashley waited. "Ugh, I hate Physics. I don't even get it." She said. "Well, just be glad you don't have the teacher's attention all day, every day. I mean, doesn't he have a wife?" I asked. "No, actually he doesn't. She was murdered years ago, due to a baby he claims. But since he's alone all the tim, he seems to go after younger girls now. I think he's a freak. How he got this job is beyond me."

"Well, I just hope he doesn't try anything funny with me." I said smartly. We headed to our dorm rooms, and planned the rest of our night.
