• Chapter 4: Rock On
Samantha's chest heaved in and out as she stood in front of us.
"How dare you!" she screamed we had to bite our cheeks to stop us from laughing as the slime was caught in her hair and down her top.
"How dare you!!" she repeated with emphasis on the dare
"If you ever do that again I swear that I will make sure that you wish you had never been born!" Samantha finished, huffed and stomped over to her cooing cronies.
"Someone didn't take her pills this morning" Delilah yelled at her quickly.

The next morning Tululah knocked on our door just as I was finishing pulling on my sea green skinny jeans my REAL Dad had bought me for my birthday last month.
"Uh Darcy There's a package for you at the office a rather large one too" Tululah said "Coming" I replied softly as not to wake my sleeping room mates. I quickly pulled on my lemon tank top and creme cardigan and headed over to the office. As I walked in I noticed a medium sized parcel leaning against the office desk
"That's the one" Tululah said nodding in its direction
"Thanks," I replied as I picked it up and cradled it in my arms. When I arrived back at the cabin most of my room mates were sleepily wandering around the cabin looking for their bags or something like that. I sat down on my bed and laid the parcel next to me.
"Well," Farrah said "Are you going to open it?"
"Ok" I said drowsily pulling off the thick layer of sellotape on the top of the box. After a while I opened the two tabs folding into the very long package My jaw dropped, laying inside the box surrounded by polystyrene was a brand new black Fender Telecaster complete with a shiny whammy bar I noticed a note attached to the head I picked it up it read "Missing you I hope you like it come visit me next school holidays! Rock On! Dad xoxo" just as I finished reading the note Delilah poked her head above the parcel to get a look at whats inside "WHOA!!!"She said "What is it!?" Penelope asked "Its a Fender Telecaster" Farrah yelled just then there was a knock at the door "Another delivery!" Tululah said as she pushed her way through the door and carefully put the exact square parcel down and left the room.

In the parcel was my old amplifier from home that Mum had shipped down she had probably known that Dad had bought me a new guitar. I have been learning guitar ever since I was 6 and my Dad says I would only play one song which was "Smoke On The Water" You have to admit its quite catchy.

I quickly plugged the chord into the Telecaster and put the strap over my shoulder, gripping the neck shakily I strum the new smelling strings a raspy, Elvis type sound is sent through the room. I Grin, and whisper "Oh the adventures we shall have young one" Nothing was going to ruin my day, at least, that's what I thought....
